Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, it is available on every page of our website including those pages where Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) may be requested.

Unless Mindscreen is complying with a legal obligation, you have the right to revoke prior consent, by contacting Mindscreen, at which time access to your PII would cease and be deleted.

The Information We Collect

PII collected for account registration and processing of Mindscreen assessments includes: name, e-mail address, PayPal payment data, credit card type, card number, card expiration date, card security code, gender (only used to insert appropriate pronouns in each individuals profile), and IP address. Mindscreen collects only the PII it needs for account registration, payment, the completion of the Mindscreen assessments and anonymous research studies.

When Mindscreen collect sensitive information such as PayPal data, credit card numbers, security codes and expiration dates, that information is encrypted. It is protected through the use of a secure connection known as “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL).

We do not disclose or transfer yours or your child’s PII to third parties, except when you engage a third party yourself, such as a professional care worker. If our policy regarding disclosures or transfer of PII to third parties changes in the future, we will reflect such change in our Privacy Statement and provide you with the option not to share your information.

Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website about any children other than those children you or your appointed care worker invite to complete the Mindscreen assessments. No other part of our website is structured to attract or engage children.

The Way We Use Information

We may use your PII i.e. your first and last name, gender and assessment responses, to produce a personalised profile about you, which is shared only with you and/or the professional care worker that you appointed.

We may use your child’s PII i.e. their first and last name, gender and assessment responses, to produce a personalised profile about them, which is shared only with you and/or the professional care worker that you appointed.

We will not collect any information about you or your child except that which is required to create your secure account, complete your online purchases of Mindscreen product, and produce personal profiles as described above. The IP address is used to inform anonymous research studies and country norms.

Finally, we never use or share the PII provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

The Mindscreen website pages you or your child access to complete the assessments from within your secure Mindscreen account do not use cookies to collect user information.
