Mind Screen Ltd. (“Mindscreen”) is a Scottish/UK company dedicated to improving young people’s self-esteem and confidence through the application of self-assessment and self-awareness tools & learning exercises.

This Privacy Statement governs the manner in which Mindscreen collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from you and your children through the use of Mindscreen’s website.
Mindscreen is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the associated standards and practices regarding personal data as prescribed within the GDPR mandate.
Mindscreen is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, it is available on every page of our website including those pages where Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) may be requested.
When providing your information, you have an opportunity to review this Privacy Policy, thereby consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to Mindscreen’s use of the information it collects as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy you may not use our assessment systems.
Unless Mindscreen is complying with a legal obligation, you have the right to revoke prior consent, by contacting Mindscreen, at which time access to your PII would cease and be deleted.
The Information We Collect
PII collected for account registration and processing of Mindscreen assessments includes: name, e-mail address, Payment data, credit card type, card number, card expiration date, card security code, gender (only used to insert appropriate pronouns in each individuals profile), and IP address. Mindscreen collects only the PII it needs for account registration, payment, the completion of the Mindscreen assessments, and anonymous research studies.
When Mindscreen collects sensitive information such as payment data, credit card numbers, security codes and expiration dates, that information is encrypted. It is protected through the use of a secure connection known as “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL).
We do not disclose or transfer your PII or your child’s PII to third parties other than to TTI Success Insights (TTISI), our assessment partner, or when you engage a third party yourself, such as a teacher or professional care worker. If our policy regarding disclosures or transfer of PII to third parties changes in the future, we will reflect such change in our Privacy Statement and provide you with the option not to share your information.
Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website about any children other than those children you or your appointed care worker invite to complete the Mindscreen assessments. No other part of our website is structured to attract or engage children.
The Way We Use Information
We may use your PII, i.e. your first and last name, gender, and assessment responses, to produce a personalised profile about you, which is shared only with TTISI, you, and/or the teacher or professional care worker that you appointed.
We may use your child’s PII, i.e. their first and last name, gender, and assessment responses, to produce a personalised profile about them, which is shared only with TTISI, you, and/or the teacher or professional care worker that you appointed.
We will not collect any information about you or your child except that which is required to create your secure account, complete your online purchases of Mindscreen product, and produce personal profiles as described above. The IP address is used to inform anonymous research studies and country norms.
Finally, we never use or share the PII provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above.
The Mindscreen website pages you or your child access to complete the assessments from within your secure Mindscreen account do not use cookies to collect user information.
The public domain Mindscreen website pages store cookies on your computer. These cookies are used to collect information about how you interact with our public web pages and allow us to remember you. We use this information in order to improve and customise your browsing experience and for analytics and metrics about our visitors.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
We acknowledge the right of individuals to access their PII. You can correct factual errors in your PII or request that your entire record be removed from our database by contacting us. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making corrections.
Data Retention
Mindscreen’s standard policy is to retain your information until deletion is requested by you. However, after deletion we will continue to retain and use profile statistics, in an anonymous format, for research purposes and, as necessary, to comply with our legal obligations.
